My neighbor swore my garage door was closed after both my husband and I had left for work today and the same neighbor saw it open about 10 p.m. at night. The Chesterton Police Department were very kind and sent officer Dan to go with me inside. I felt very stupid asking for this, but both the dispatcher and officer were very understanding. So many officers don't get enough credit for what they do. Thank you so very much.

Sad to see what happened to that lovely couple in 2012. I truly hope things have changed. I'd hate to have an officer do me wrong when I visit and decide to erase the evidence. Hopefully this department has cleansed its hands of filthy public servants.
I just saw the 2012 dashcam video of your officers pulling over a man rushing his wife to the hospital. Are you a bunch of morons, whats up with you guys. That was deplorable. I hope someone was fired if not all of them. My god. Disgusting.
