The place is supposed to open at 10:30 sat in drive thru until 10:38 I finally drove to the window. Couldn't see anyone any where in the place finally someone shuffled by and noticed me. Someone else finally brought out a cash drawer opened the window and just looked at me. Needless to say it was not a pleasure doing business there.
Also outside has weeds and is not well kept..the inside is dirty and messy.
The dining area was very dirty and the entire floor was sticky. The only reason I give two stars is because the food was made to order so it was hot and the French fries were tasty.
I ordered fries and a root beer float. After 40 minutes, I finally went up to the counter to ask where my food is at and she made it all right in front of me at that moment. Several other customers with large orders were served before me even though ordering significantly later than I did.
If I could give the Chesterton IN KFC a lower rating I would. They are disinterested and seem bothered to be taking my order.
If you are looking for fried grilled chicken might I suggest Jewel - attacks - or even the gas station down the road.
This place is part of KFC. I’ve already spent enough time commenting on how terrible this place is. It sucks. It’s not the food either. It’s the service and,especially,the management; or a lack there of.
Wait time is extensive, prices are high for "fast food", the past two times we've been..our waitresses have been unfriendly. I suggest you order your food "to go" even if you plan on eating at the drive-in portion. We watched several others doing this and they had their food much faster than we did.
We like the chicken but we also have 3 other locations to get chicken at.
